Can I take IMMUNE SHIELD® if I am lactose intolerant?

IMMUNE SHIELD® contains lactoferrin derived from milk. During the manufacturing process, lactose levels are reduced to very low amounts, typically around 0.01%, making it virtually lactose-free. However, as milk is an allergen, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional if you have concerns.

How do I take IMMUNE SHIELD®?

Daily wellness and prevention

Take 1 capsule per day for a preventative dose. It doesn’t matter what time of day you take it — whenever works best for you.

Take 2-4 capsules per day (morning and evening) at the first signs of a cold, or if you are stressed, run down, having difficulty sleeping or if you have plans or events where you simply cannot afford to be ill.

Is IMMUNE SHIELD® suitable for people looking to support their iron levels?

Lactoferrin is analternative to traditional iron supplementsand has been studied for its potential tosupport iron metabolism. Those looking for a gentler approach to maintaining iron levels may find it beneficial.

How long should I take IMMUNE SHIELD® for?

Some benefits will be immediately noticeable when taking IMMUNE SHIELD®, such as when you think you might be coming down a cold or virus.

No, since IMMUNE SHIELD® contains lactoferrin sourced from milk, it is not suitable for those with milk allergies.

No, IMMUNE SHIELD® contains bovine lactoferrin, so it is not suitable for vegans.

Does IMMUNE SHIELD® contain casein?

No, there is no casein in IMMUNE SHIELD®.

Does IMMUNE SHIELD® use liposomal delivery?

No, IMMUNE SHIELD® does not use liposomal delivery, as it requires artificial dissolving agents that may be harmful to health.

What are the capsules made of?

Our vegetarian capsules are 100% plant-derived. We use hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), sourced from softwood trees like pine and spruce. It is safe and non-toxic.

When should I take IMMUNE SHIELD® for the best results?

  • Daily wellness & prevention: Take 1 capsule per day. Any time of day is fine, but taking it on an empty stomach(e.g. first thing in the morning) may enhance absorption.
  • SOS (Extra Support): Take 2–4 capsules per day (morning and evening) at the first signs of a cold or if you feel run down, stressed, having trouble sleeping or if you have plans or events where you simply cannot afford to be ill.

Can I wash and reuse the Virustatic Shield face covering?

Yes! It is reusable and washable making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly choice. Wash at 30°C or below using a non-bio detergent. For the Merino SHIELD®, use a wool detergent and wash on a cool, gentle cycle. 

Do not tumble dry or iron to ensure the fabric retains its quality and performance whilst preserving the effectiveness of the Virustatic Textile Technology.
